Band is a scheduled class for Grade 6 through 9 students (varies by school) where students develop social skills, creative expression, teamwork skills, discipline and persistence while learning to play a woodwind, brass or percussion instrument in a safe environment. Passionate and formally trained educators guide the students through the year-long delivery of curricular outcomes in Arts Education.

Students perform at masses, music festivals and various concerts throughout the year.  Extracurricular bands like Concert Band and Jazz Band are available to students who want to hone their skills at a higher level.
